A New Venture in Abbotsford: Abbotsford Vietnamese

Background
Abbotsford Vietnamese New Venture was born out of years of prayer and discernment by Surrey Vietnamese Alliance Church, which has faithfully served the Vietnamese community since 1990. As leaders sensed God leading them beyond Surrey, Abbotsford increasingly came into focus, where a growing Vietnamese-speaking population presented both need and opportunity. With a shared desire to see the gospel take root in the Fraser Valley, a vision emerged for a Vietnamese-speaking church presence in the city.
Through partnership with Sevenoaks Alliance Church and the support of the Canadian Pacific District, this vision has become a reality. Sevenoaks has generously opened its facility, allowing the congregation to gather weekly and begin building a Christ-centered community. Now established as a New Venture, Abbotsford Vietnamese exists to share the transforming hope of Jesus and to reach Vietnamese-speaking families in Abbotsford, Mission, and Aldergrove through worship, discipleship, and relational outreach.
