Chaplaincy
Connecting & Resourcing Chaplains
Chaplaincy reflects the church’s commitment to be present beyond its walls. Within the CPD, chaplains serve in roles that include spiritual care, pastoral support, teaching, officiating services, and walking alongside individuals and communities in times of need.

Chaplaincy in the CPD
Chaplaincy is a growing ministry within The Alliance in Canada. The CPD supports chaplains through connection, resourcing, and shared leadership.
Currently, there are 24 chaplains serving within the CPD and more than 100 chaplains serving across Canada.
Chaplaincy in the CPD operates in partnership with the Association of Alliance Chaplains (AAC), which provides oversight, training, and guidance for chaplaincy ministry.
