BC & Yukon's Support for Alliance Churches

My work is simply a response to God's call, to see churches of every ethnicity embody the vision of Revelation 7:9, a great multitude from every nation worshipping together. I hold a PhD in Leadership from Carolina University and served for 21 years as Lead Pastor of New Life Alliance Church, and as Director of the Conference of Filipino Alliance Churches across Canada. When I'm not working, I enjoy walking, hiking, and practicing silence and solitude.

I serve in the Canadian Pacific District because I love the local church and feel privileged to be part of the new things God is doing across our region. I'm especially grateful to collaborate with gifted, faith-filled teammates and to witness the transforming work of Jesus in people's lives and communities. I hold a Master of Theological Studies from Taylor Seminary and have spent about a decade in various ministry contexts that have shaped how I lead and walk with churches and leaders as we discern and join in God's work together. In my free time, I love spending time with my wife, Chelsea, travelling, enjoying friends, and seeking out new experiences, as well as cooking and photography.

No matter your background, finances shouldn't feel intimidating, and helping people get there is what I love about this role. It gives me a place to channel my passion for numbers into helping people and churches thrive. I earned my bookkeeping certificate after years as a semi driver, and have since built experience in financial services for both private companies and non-profits. Outside of work, I run my own bookkeeping business, drive the bus for my daughter's school band trips, and love camping and visiting family across BC.

I believe deeply that a healthy church structure helps ministry to thrive and enables the love of Jesus to be shared more effectively. I bring a background in serving in Alliance church ministry and information management, and am currently completing a Masters of Christian Leadership. I have spent over 10 years on the district team, and in my role, I primarily focus on coaching leaders and boards on bylaws, policy, and governance-related matters. Outside of work, I love spending time with friends and family, reading, going to concerts, and exploring, preferably near the ocean!

Helping people navigate sensitive benefits questions is, to me, a real form of ministry. I’m happy to support people facing real health and welfare needs, where their benefits are critical. I bring years of experience as a finance administrator in the banking sector, which prepared me to be people-focused and detail-oriented. Outside of work, I love DIY projects around the house and relaxing travel, ideally somewhere with a beach and palm trees!

God has always given me a heart to serve and provide hospitality, especially for pastors, missionaries, and their families. My background spans teacher training, kids ministry, elder board service, mission work in Haiti, and currently leading Bible teaching through a para-church bible study, Bible Study Fellowship. Outside of work, I love being outdoors, reading, gardening, and meeting monthly with a women's prayer group I've been part of for over 10 years.

I love helping others thrive in what they do, and I am passionate about partnering with people who desire to see lives changed by the love of Jesus! I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Columbia Bible College and have spent five years in local church ministry alongside my husband Nick. Outside of work, I love adventures with Nick and my kids, whether outdoors, playing sports, or enjoying board games with friends.

Following Jesus and investing in leaders and churches across BC and Yukon is the greatest privilege of my life. I hold a Master's degree and am currently completing a Doctorate in Practical Theology, focusing on suffering, communion with God, and hope. I've served as Lead Pastor at First Alliance Church in Calgary and North Shore Alliance Church in North Vancouver, where I grew in vision casting, collaborative leadership, and strategic planning. Outside of work, I love hiking the North Shore mountains with my wife Naomi and our children, and I'm an avid trail runner, marathoner, and triathlete who enjoys woodworking in my spare time.

The Church and the nations: those are the two loves that shape everything I do in this role. I get excited about connecting people, seeing partnerships grow, and sharing what God is doing through our Alliance family around the world.I hold an MA in Intercultural Ministry and spent 20 years serving with the Alliance in West Africa. In my free time, I enjoy cycling, kayaking, photography, and knitting.

Healthy leadership creates space for churches to thrive and faithfully reflect Jesus in their communities, and walking alongside pastors and elder boards as they grow in trust and spiritual maturity is work I find incredibly meaningful. I've seen firsthand what becomes possible when leaders are equipped and unified. With 25 years of pastoral experience, an MA in Organizational Leadership, and a Doctor of Ministry in progress focused on Board Governance and Conflict Engagement, I bring both theological depth and practical wisdom to that work. When I'm not in ministry, adventure travel and scuba diving are how I recharge, discovering new places and experiencing God's creation in fresh ways.

It's an honour to work alongside our staff team in serving God's people and His churches. I am grateful to be a part of the mission to expand His kingdom! I love providing administrative support and helping plan district events. I've served in Alliance admin roles across two district offices for over two decades. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, camping, and spending quality time with family and friends.
